Water Park and Swimming Pools
Ho Tay Water Park & Moon Park
Hanoi 's water park is located to the north of the city centre and is a refreshing way to pass the time. The park features 12 waterslides and tube rides plus other water features including a wave pool, diving pool and hydrotherapy pool. There are dedicated water activities for younger children including the slow-moving ‘ Lazy River '. Moon Park , adjoining the water park, has amusements for all the family including a corkscrew rollercoaster, a huge swing, mini golf, dodgems and a 3-D cinema.
Swimming Pools
Many of the top hotels have swimming pools that can be used by non-residents for a small fee. The Thang Loi (1 Pho Yen Phu ) pool is part of a hotel resort that has a 25 metre outdoor pool popular with expats and tourists. There are fantastic views of the West Lake from the pool - sunbeds can be hired and there is a poolside drinks service.

Lang Ha Golf Club
The only golf course within the city itself offering driving range facilities for up to 15 golfers, a putting green (open to members only) and lessons with a golf pro.
Kings Island Golf Resort and Country Club
Located some 28 miles from central Hanoi , Kings Island was the first course to be built in northern Vietnam and was designed by Robert McFarland - designer of many championship courses. The two challenging 18- hole courses – Lakeside and Mountainview - are reached by boat, and there are fantastic views of the Ba Vi Mountain . The courses are open weekdays for non-members and there is a club house and a golf pro school. The country club offers a range of recreational activities including horseback riding, hiking and watersports.
Chi Linh Star Golf and Country Club
An hour's drive from the city centre the Chi Linh Golf Club features 2 18-hole courses set in an attractive location with rolling hills and a large lake. The clubhouse has great views of the fairways, and other recreational activities are available.
